Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation

A classic medium to full coverage foundation, Lancôme's Teint Idole Ultra Long Wear Foundation has proven the test of time with it’s timeless natural finish. I discovered this foundation about 5-6 years ago and quickly saw why it was so highly thought of. Somehow it has the ability to cover imperfections but still remain natural looking on the skin.

Recently I’ve been struggling with some eczema flare ups which causes my face to become red and textured. I’ve been choosing a foundation with a bit more coverage most days. Teint Idole Ulta Long Wear looks beautiful applied with a sponge over my trouble areas. I have the ability to go from light coverage with just 1 pump or fuller coverage with 2-3 pumps.

I despise the look of heavy foundation on top of my skin and I think people assume you have to go for a full coverage look when the foundation carries a medium to full coverage claim. That’s not always the case. I mentioned above that I like to apply Teint Idole with a damp sponge. This really gives the product a nice sheer and natural finish - perfect for my textured areas! I also like my freckles to show through. The good thing is that you have the ability for full customization when it comes to your own coverage.
